Yeah, they are 32. The waist measured 33.5 when I got them.

That was the same for me when I tried them, and everything down to the knees was super tight. My 33W straight legs measure 35" in the waist, which is about an inch too big for me.

Yeah, that's exactly right. I just scored a great pair of straight legs on ebay and mine measure 34.5, which is just about right. Were your old ones 33W tagged?

The Gilt selection was so-so. I wasn't feeling the love for too much. They were advertising a pair of "Faded Straight Leg Jeans," which I think were actually Low Straights in the "Telluride" wash. Can anybody verify this?

I don't know the wash, but I think those are Low Straights. I think they are referring Low Straights as "Straight Leg" and to Straight Leg as "Relaxed".

They couldn't f'n show the tag so people would know what they're buying?!

Zissou: do you think the jeans you ordered are Straight Leg or Low Straight?

Sorry, the straight legs I have now are tagged 33W and too big. The 32W slim bootcuts were way too tight. The 32W I bought from GILT today look exactly like the straight legs I have now, in every way.

Hm.. the 9" rise is what's throwing me off. But the pics don't look low rise. Maybe the Gilt info is wrong.

There is no way the jeans in that photo are a 9" rise.

True. Dammit, why can't they just post a pic of the tag?!! ... and also check their friggin' text description for accuracy. I swear, the ebayers do a better of job of describing and measuring their products.

According to GILT, every pair of RRL jeans they are selling has a 9" rise

My 33W straight legs have a 13" front rise. Quite a difference.

i wear a 30 in the straights and i'm typically a 32. definitely not a 9" rise. i'm 31 in the slims. their sizing is wonky.

where do the straight fits hit at the waist? I looking at 30x30, and although im not concerned about the waist, I'm wondering if the length will be too short? Are they a true 30" inseam? I'm about 5'10"-5'11" for reference.

^Mine were the highest rise I had ever tried, pretty much at my belly button. Don't you guys want some natural selvage denim? It's great stuff 33W in sig.

I was thinking of buying the same ones you did. I noticed that Gilt had an expiration date for the sale of 5/24 at midnight, which was something like 3 or 4 days later, so it looked like an error. But I waited to think about it, and sure enough they did pull the sale the next day as they usually do. But maybe the jeans will show up again in one of their "clearance" sales. I actually picked up a Rag & Bone jacket yesterday that was around 80% off; I swear I saw it in an earlier sale for at least double the price. So keeping my fingers crossed for a return of the unsold RRL denim.

Gonna be in Philly for the weekend. Are either of the RL stores there (factory store at Franklin Mills, RL store at Bellevue) good for RRL (or RLBL) stuff? Or should I just not waste my time at either?
