this should help for the once wash vs rigid. I personally think the slim fit is smaller in the thigh and leg opening by 1" which is why i choose the low straights.

Thanks. I'm loving my low straights but I would like to try the slims.

I would pick up a pair of rigid slims but I don't like that they don't have the pocket stitching that the low straights do.

Did they have green or dark red / burgundy officer chinos by any chance?

slim is definitely slim through the thigh and leg opening, I love my low straight as well. I don't think slim work as well for me, why don't you try it out at the store first? Don't worry about whether you can button or not though, it definitely stretch.

hoping for 90% here as well, that's the only reason I can justify buying even more clothe shog[1].gif ..., I didn't buy anything Tuesday, so if the good stuff are still around on Thursday, then count me in I suppose...

Generally not a varsity jacket guy, but this one is pretty sweet.

I like the chain-stitched patch.

I would love to try a pair at the store, but the closest one to where I live is like 800 km/500 miles away, and it's not even a 'proper' RRL store. Maybe the next time I have to go to London because of work.

Well I finally bought a pair of slim fits in canyon creek wash. They weren't supercheap and I hope the wash is different enough from spring creek 2.

I would have preferred a darker wash but...

interesting. exactly the same style as that indian head varsity from last year. does anyone know more about that "chain-stitch"? i think i posted in here a while back asking about it, supposedly its a really hard stitching process or something along those lines. i may be butchering the vernacular haha. they came out with a hat with the same patch which is available now, i wonder if they will do the same for this jacket.

funny its being sold in the summer.

I'm 18th in line at the SH sale today. Going to be very surprised if there's anything decent left by now. Guess we'll see.

I thought chain stitching was a pretty standard technique for embroidering those kind of patches.

That cat jacket is pretty sweet. I might have to get it..
I passed on the Indian head one when it was in stores and then regretted it but managed to track one down on e-bay.
But now I don't wear it for fear of being labelled a Redskins fan.
