Thats the guy! i called him out on eBay a few days ago for selling RRL jeans for $450 when the same exact ones are going for around $150.
He responded and told me if I can find a pair of RRL's for $150, I'm getting a great steal.

yeah, i really wonder how anyone buys anything off of him - i've seen him listing items for double to triple and in some cases much more - of the original value or the going rate for the items on eBay.

Like this:

He is selling it for 498, and on sale for 323. Marci on eBay was selling it for 150ish, and she is selling the other color right now for 185 (gray) - and i'm sure if you message her she'll bring it down to 160ish. I bought a gray one off her earlier this year for around 165 or something.

Also conch729 overprices like crazy

Yeah I really wonder just how much he actually sells though given his prices are above retail sometimes

What I have seen BP do is, mark up his items 25-30% and then have a "sale" for 30% off. brings it back to down to full retail :bored:

Hes frustrating. He just listed about 8 pairs of those oxblood RRL's - had my size and everything. All for the special low price of $110 over retail.

haha, its such a great looking vest. The black leather with the navy jacket go surprisingly well together

I am really starting to dig that Rancher vest as well. At first I wasn't so sure about the Black with Brown but it has grown on me.

Blue present isn't listing new stock. This is stuff he's purchased over 6 months ago. He's just now getting around to listing it and frequently relisting items.

I have had the pleasure of spotting BP on more than one occasion in action buying up 16-20 bags of PSR and sale items and no managers prevented or restricted him like they are supposed to.

conch and hanansi are following suite pushing RRL at or above retail. With over 3000 items they can price at whatever they want and find enough foreign/idiot buyers to move merchandise in a timely manner.

They know 99% of ebay shoppers don't know resellers cleaning outlets nationwide and paying $12-50 for a pair of jeans they try to push for $300-400.

Maybe he personally know the managers or maybe he pays something.

Well I became acquainted with one seller who started selling me things I requested over email - I'd tell her to find me 'yadda yadda yadda' and she'd do her best to look for it, but also showed me things she found she'd think I'd be interested in in case I wanted to buy. She told me where she lives the Factory Stores, and the Department stores get alot of overstock and sale items from Rugby RL and some times RRL. I think this might be the casefor marci, ladyhawk and a few others.

Conch sells a tie-pin that costs $10 on Rugby.com for over $40 on eBay. He probably doesn't even have them in stock, just waiting for it to be bought then he'll go buy it from the website/store and send it. Funny thing is he actually does sell about 2-3 products per day at 2-4 times the price of the product - probably because he provides international shipping.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ralph-Lauren-Big-Pony-Polo-Cologne-Spray-Perfume-Set-4-/200519490411?pt=fragrance&hash=item2eafe49b6b#ht_1326wt_1144

He sold 4 of these for $100 total, it costs about $12 x 4 = $48 for the whole set of 4.

Blue_Present sells a lot as well, but his big ticket items don't really do that well. Its also probably very niche to international buyers.

Last time I spoke with someone at RL (corporate/supply chain) they told me that in the next few years International expansion was their main concern, priority in Asia around Korea, Japan, and China/Hong Kong. All conch and Blue will have left is old styles that people may be interested in overseas, at the best - and right now Blue has styles he is only just listing that are 2+yrs old.
