Actually, it's mostly themed around western wear, with a lot of military gear thrown in.

It'd be really awesome if someone could help me find info about RRL boots.

I figure there was no point calling anyone since I have no idea what they look like it's bad enough buying boots from pics alone without trying them but buying boots without even knowing wtf they look like is a whole other level of rediculous.

That may be the best sockless fit oxford shoe I have ever seen.

You could call to ask what they look like.

Really? No decent SA is going to tell you they look "totally badass" without explaining in more detail.

all the oxfords were tagged made in china when i was there last week. not that there is anything wrong with that...my shirt i just pulled out of the dryer is Made in china, as well as the tshirt off my back right now which is also made in china. I don't know how true your statement is, unless they switched the tags..

From reading this thread, I clearly see this forum has a lot of misconceptions of what RRL is and isn't.

A good deal of the clothing is Made in China, it's not all USA.

and honestly the prices on most RRL aren't that much more expensive than most RL polo. The average RRL shirt is 145, the average on jeans is 230, etc. nothing unusual price wise when compared to the other brands this forum promotes. It's a solid product with a great aesthetic and fit. Stop making it seem like this huge mystery.

Every washed jean I've seen (Barney's, RL stores) was tagged in the $330-350 range. Only the rigid/rinse jeans come in at $220-230 For some pretty so-so washes (great denim, of course, and the fading isn't bad - too many 'grease stains' and so on, though).

With Barney's taking it wider, are they trying to position this as the older/workwear-er Rugby, I wonder? Both lines could do with less branding. Far, far less branding.

I think aside from a t-shirt that says RRL and the front pocket of older jeans, they're practically brandingless. Unless, of course, you're referring to their logo, which is LITERALLY a "brand" in the old west sense of the word.
