Still a nice shirt, but I was expecting a darker indigo colour.

I've got the polka dot version from last winter and while it's not quite as dark as the picture you were hoping for, it was definitely a nice deep indigo. There's definitely some variation on the fabric though, which may due to the dying process, I guess. Thinking about it, that might be why you think it may be a bit faded.
