Froosh, thank-you. That is what I recall others saying (re: field chino sizing) in this thread a while back but I couldn't find the specific posts.

Odd that it is 2-3" above tagged size for some... that means I should be buying a Sz 26-27... Yet 28 is a perfect fit, and 29 gives me room to breath/tuck in shirts. My actual waist size is 29".

Seriously, this is on the Ralph Lauren website. You should check there first. These are also all over ebay.

I totally agree with you, but.. do you not buy and sell RL on ebay yourself? Pretty epic levels of self loathing here.

no need to be rude man. First of all, not everyone has the disposable income to buy into RRL, but they love the brand so they do their best to buy what they can. Some of us are resellers who buy up what they can to provide a service to those of us who can't scour outlets etc... There's a reason we don't like Club Monaco, it simply isn't the same style, and definitely not the same quality.

Just to prove a point, I wanted that Fair Isle Cardigan, refused to pay 300+ for it, because frankly I'd rather save than spend, ended up getting it for 135 off a reseller on eBay. Nothing wrong with that at all.

Some of us do have the means to go crazy and buy a lot of RRL from RL's storefronts, and that's terrific, I'm very glad they can and enjoy seeing them enjoy their purchases.

Instead of criticizing, no matter how ridiculous the requests and comments from certain people are, lets see what you can bring to the table...

Nope, never bought a piece of RRL on ebay.  When I want to make room in my closet I sell items.  I understand my comment will put people off, but sometimes you have to say these things to reset the balance.  When a guy literally hounds the thread for a pair of sweatpants, you have to call it.  It's okay for one to voice his disapproval of the direction of the thread.  In fact, it's healthy for the thread as a whole.  I, for one, would just like to see more pages dedicated to things actually relevant to the brand.  It's getting tiresome reading about whether an outlet 20 miles outside of Tampa has straight legs in a 36 X 34.

I'll post the pics, you're right.  Just didn't want 300 responses on which outlet to get them at.

Zzzzz.   Stop being a peacemaker.  That guy needed to be told he was being an ass.  And you coming in and coddling him is even worse.  If you want to waste your time telling ass hats like that to check .com and ebay for a pair of sweats or an effing waffle crew be my guest homeboy.  So you bought a Fair Isle crew off a reseller for $135?  What does that tell me?!?  Tells me you should have bought a full price one from Rugby for $10 less.  Tells me you should give up your "finance" hobby.

If someone likes the brand, why does it matter to you where or what price they're buying at? If you can save time and money buying from resellers etc., especially pieces from past seasons, why not? You think everyone lives close by to a RRL store? Do you expect sweatpants and henley guy to fly out of Greece to make the purchase? I know I'm glad that there are some great resellers out there making it easy for the rest of us to enjoy some RRL.

I know it's just a pair of sweatpants to the rest of us, but clearly the guy wants them badly and has no idea where to look. It took seconds to email him a link and I'm happy that he's found something that he really wanted, regardless of what it is. I've been pretty fortunate to meet a few members here that have helped me get some great RRL pieces and I appreciate it!

There's enough douchebaggery going around nowadays, let's keep it out of this thread. Now, time to get drunk. smile.gif
