I have just as much of a chance to buy something from a store as anyone else. So I dont give a shit if someone is mad im reselling. Its YOUR fault you didnt buy something when it went on its 3RD markdown, not mine. Almost every pair of boots I sell is to someone overseas with no access whatsoever to any RRL stuff in their country, or in Japans and the UKs case its extremely expensive even when on sale.

Good point, actually. If it made it to the outlet, that means you didn't want it that bad.

Exactly.

Plus, its not like Dave is ripping people off, his prices are pretty much MSRP. He's definitely a much cooler person to deal with than BP or Conch

You are right, they're similar in some ways (I nearly walked away from star ore for that reason). they stars on this one are much more a focal point, while with the grey/black polka dot one is a lot more subtle.

I really wanted this one from last season because of the off-set pocket, but they never got it at my local RRL, so I got the star ore one as a consolation.

I was talking about the blue polka dot mate, which I think might have been a different shirt to the black. The fabric reminded me of that but similar to you I only really walked past it.

Does anybody have a recent 10% code?
The only one I could find is BZR2992 which seems to be expired.

Oh in that case you may very well be right. I do love that blue polka from last season. What size do you have?

I've got a large. I can't believe I was on the fence about it at first as it's basically my go to shirt at the moment.

How can I buy it on the third markdown before the resellers swoop in like vultures / scurry around like rats and snatch up every last item? Say, do you also scalp Van Halen tickets outside the arena on weekends?

Your logic seems a bit ridiculous considering that you have the same access to merchandise as anyone else. It'd also be wise to start a good relationship with a RRL sales rep. They will learn what you like and be more willing to let you know about price drops, to hunt down items, etc. if you continuously buy from them.

I can only say this because I used to think that way. If you see it and you want it. Buy it. If you don't have enough money, start a savings for the next season of RRL because there's usually always one item that's hot and sells out quickly, every season. nod[1].gif

Look pal, thanks for the fatherly advice, but you're way off the mark. This has nothing to do with not being able to afford the items. I've probably been shopping RL longer than you've been alive.

It's just that, in my opinion, resellers are the lowest of the low, along with ticket scalpers (and parasites and leeches). And like scalpers, they act like they're doing everyone a big favor by sucking up supply and then ripping people off. They should get out of the sewer and get a real job. Now run along, son.
