I noticed that seller as well.

Most of the stuffs he sells have no tags and I have never seen those printed T-shirts ever.

And I saw that vest's RRL label before, it used on Grand Canyon collection if memory serves.

And If you check the listings from seller annayounglady, plastic tag attacher is black. I've never seen RRL using black hang tag attacher. And Union Made label looks printed.

RRL belt made in Vietnam?

I've seen Made in USA, China, Italy. But NOT Vietnam.

I'm not saying this belt is not fake, but I recently saw a Made in India RRL shirt in a Ralph Lauren store. And they once did Sri Lanka, too. So I wouldn't be shocked to see Made in Vietnam.

The Taobao prices sure are cheap. I don't speak Chinese, but I wonder if the listings are trying to pass them off as real, or if they admit they are replicas.

..Speaking of TJMaxx, mine regularly receives RRL shirts and outerwear for $39-$59. Must be all fakes though...

I've never seen fakers printing their own UPC tags... it's just not worth the trouble. The stuff on the Chinese sites is cheap, but that doesn't automatically make it fake. The shoes and last jacket clearly look fake, but the vest looks authentic.  The listing is also quite professional looking. Like ebay there are fake sellers and real sellers of designer clothing on taobao.

 

I'm chalking this up to either older deadstock, or one off pieces made for the Asian/JP market.

However you may purchase the real vest and receive something fake or completely different. Chinese sites often use photographs they steal from manufacturer or legit vendor and once you buy they ship the knock off. Photos mean nothing if the seller isn't reputable.

 

I've recently sold something that was made in Bolivia. You can add that to the list of obscure countries RRL is manufactured.

Ive seen some of those shirts before. This one for example is a few years old but its legit.



If youre going to try to make money by bootlegging a shirt then you would need to sell a bunch of these to cover your screenprinting costs alone. Making one fake isnt going to cut it.

The yellow one with the logo ive seen before too.

I'm not so sure you're wrong. Take a look at this from the same seller... Surely the vests are just decent fakes, whereas this thing is just simply horrendous. Looks like the sort of tourist ware one might find outside a mosque in Turkey. Look at all the loose threads hanging off this thing. Simply dreadful.

Hi guys,

It's been a while I was lurking at the RRL Chino Officers Rigid selvedge.
I finally found them at the official Ralf Lauren shop in Paris. They were not importing RRL product line but now they do!
I'm just back from the store (lucky me it is open on sunday) and I bought them in size 30 (always thought I needed a tag 32).
I don't have them yet since I ask the store to hem and taper them a bit. I can't wait to get them next saturday !

BTW I always thought those chinos was made in the USA but the ones I saw was "made in China". The seller told me that only the jeans was made in the US but not the chinos. Is it true?

Any one know the waist measurements on the slim cords in he sale section? I'm around a 33.5 waist. Would a 32 be ok for me?

Anyone know anything about the sizing on the Brunel boots? What is the fit like?

Just tried a few of their more pre-worn denim pieces over the holidays and was very impressed. Maybe I'm moving away from the whole "raw jawnz" thing. The denim was a great weight, tastefully aged, and felt like great construction. Just wish there was a local place here that stocked it.
