how is the quality and fit of the workshirts and henly that is left on the RRL sale? Comparable to GBV? Guessing SMALL GBV = SM RRL shirts? Never actually seen the stuff in person, impossible to find here in Canada

I have a couple RRL shirts and lots of Gitman. I don't know about smalls but in mediums the RRL fits just slightly bigger in a lot of cases. As far as quality goes...GBV wins that one in fabric, construction and consistency I think...but RRL is mostly good and definitely has some more interesting styles which is why I like them. I've had some bad luck with a few work shirts that had small holes in the fabric when brand new (were either not purchased or returned with no problem) but I have one workshirt and one flannel shirt now that I do like very much and wear often (actually wearing my Jack Rabbit workshirt today w/ my officer chinos).

Hi guys I have been looking to buy a pair of jeans from RRL for awhile now. I like the detail on the slim boot cuts but prefer a narrow hem. Are there any RRl jeans that have the stitch detail on the back pockets like the slim boot? If there is not then how wide is the flare on the boot cuts?. I prefer a slimmer looking Jean but have no idea what the measurements are on any of their jeans.

RRLs slim boot cut fit is very subtle. I have a pair and the leg opening is only half an inch larger than the knee.

Ok that's what I was hoping for. I don't like hems that are sloppy looking. The pics I have seen of the RRL slim boots looked to be a slight flare but I wasn't sure it would be different IRL. Would u mind posting a fit pic if u have any or get the chance. i would love to see the overall fits of them.

Unless very much mistaken, the stitch detail on the back of the slim boots is the same as the low straights.

$502? Is the sale better in store than online again?

U are correct but I tend to shy away from anything straight. I could have the wrong assumption of straight fitting jeans but I have always looked for slimmer fitting jeans by going with jeans labeled slim or skinny. Not talking Levi 510 skinny jeans but I do like slimmer fits. . I have toyed with a few cuts with different brands and I so far have figured out I like the skinny fit of the unbranded brand and the weird guy fit from N&F. I have this memory of a pair of sevens in a straight fit I owned many years ago and since then I stay away. Anyway I'm clueless about RRL fits but am attracted to their detailing.

The slim straights are a better fitting jean than the slim boot in my opinion. If you're into slimmer fits, you should probably go with the slim fit. I think some slim fits have the stitching on the back pockets too (although don't quote me on that).

slim fits are plain on back pockets

Low straights are not that far off from slim straights. I have both, not a huge difference. Low straits have the back pocket stitching, give them a try.

yeha i own low straights and slim fits. i prefer slim fits cuz of leg opening but both are simiilar

Based on everything you said, go with slim fits.

Each of the fits has its own unique back pocket stitching; the exception to that is on some of the indigo washes, the slim fits have the same back pocket stitching as the slim boots cuts (both those fits are actually the same above the knee).
