I treat mine the same as my once-washed, which I treat like raws basically. I soak every once in a while, a small amount of Woolite if necessary.

I've had mine 3 years and I've washed them maybe three or four times. I don't treat them as rigid denim in the sense that I don't avoid washing them... but I try not to wash any of my jeans too often. Some of contrasting marks have faded, but the overall color is still good.

Sounds good, thanks!

Context has a sale on RRL at the moment. They usually have rigid denim - you should call to find out.

Cool looking store, awful sale prices.

Picked up the fair isle cotton zip up bomber. Looks great with a button down and chinos. Speaking of which dropped by the Fillmore RL and they just put out the new selvedge chino in black/gunmetal. Of course I had to kop.

Selvedge chino contest anyone? devil.gif

How much are the selvedge chinos? Is that an icon or seasonal piece? They look sick...

$240 icon, fits like all officer chino. Don't PM me with fit questions (it's been answers 100 times here and in the selvedge thread (Trimalchio, that was just as general statement, not directed at you)).

They are great though, I'm wearing them right now with ravello boots. Color is so versatile

I'd like to know this too. I want to order a henley but I can't justify spending $125 for an undershirt in my head.

They had a kind of lighter blue waffle on the site for $60 for a little while, but it went back to $125. Maybe that one will go back on sale soon, or at the end of the season. I bought the darker grayish-navy waffle one--it's OK, I don't think I'd pay $125 for it. I don't love the collar; it seems to standup slightly when wearing it. If you're not looking for a specific style of henley, I recommend checking out the wings+horns henleys. Unfortunately no waffle ones available this season (or next).

Congrats on both purchases. That new seasonal icon looks a lot like the deadstock cotton work pant.

Dastig, do you know if the material is the same?

I do love the officer chino cut though, so I think I will need a pair of these new ones.
(I for one know better than to get in a contest with you for wear in these pants. You only need one challenger and you will be proudly wearing prawns on your loins again biggrin.gif)

That moto is awesome. Fit pics?
Go ahead and through it over your new gunmetal chinos...
