I went back and checked and I got an email on the 27th of October regarding the pre-sale, so we've still got some time. I'd imagine if we receive anything in the mail it might be this week?

Damn, no core items allowed? There's 2 denims, a chino, a 2 western shirts I wanted.

EDIT: Checked my list again, everything is from the Icon collection (core).

Hence why people said to buy it during give in style...

Despite what some people may say, on the web store things may be different.

Items I was told would not work with coupons or go on sale, did. You never really know until it happens. So cross your fingers...

This might be a stupid question, but how do you check what collection to which RRL items belong?

Someone explained on the previous page. Just type RRL + collection name in the search bar on RL's website and everything will pop up.

He's asking for the reverse though, when you see an item but want to know which collection it belongs to. I want a sweater that's not a part of the sun valley or isle of man collection apparently

Ah gotcha, my fault for not reading the original question out loud. I've always wondered that too.

Try typing RRL Core, or RRL Icon and see if item comes up there.....if so question answered.

edit: nevermind, I didn't realize Icon and Core are the same.

That's because those few Core pieces are consistent from year to year.

Yeah, I wasn't sure, because it was missing the once-washed and rigid denim, which I thought was consistent every year. I guess obviously that won't be part of the sale, though.

They do show up under RRL icon, so unfortunately no, they won't be part of the sale. Keep your eyes on the classifieds though, they pop up every so often.

Deez: Thanks for the input on the canvas bags, swaying more towards RRL now.

I don't have a RRL bag but I do have a Filson 257. Absolutely awesome thing - pretty much indestructible. I believe Filson offer a guarantee too... if something does happen to your bag they'll repair or replace it for free. RL won't be able to offer anything like that.
