I don't think the low straights will have a 7.5" hem so you should look at slim instead. Sizing is tricky, I have some RRL low straights that are vanity sized 3", even 4".

Can't say how it fits I'm afraid as it was sold out in my size when I went to grab one a couple of weeks back. Seems to be selling really quick over here, the RRL shop only had a XL left and Liberty only had XL and S.

On another note, does anyone have any idea why the UK/Europe Pink Pony discount is only 20%? Seems a bit crazy, especially considering the difference in prices over here (i.e. the above shirt is 70-80 pounds more expensive).

odd question, but i realise how different cloth can look in user-created photos ... but are these the same shirts? to me the top one looks like the collar point is more rounded, and th bottom one looks like softer material.  thought i would post them here for the RRL experts, perhaps a different seasons version of the same shirt?

Those are the same, they're distressed and crumpled around the collar and placket hence the first one looking rounded at the collars. FYI it's pretty thin cotton and nothing really special.

Yeah a thin cotton but very comfortable. I have 3 and highly recommend - especially if you can get a good price on the bay. The buttons (mop I believe) are a nice touch.

Yeah definitely worth it at ebay prices. You know I never even realized it had MOP buttons until now, you can see the shell on the back. Nice!

Hey all -
just a PSA that I've got a few listings up with alot of RRL, size Medium. I've lots considerable weight over the summer (that I plan on keeping off! smile.gif )
and I need to divorce myself (painfully) from some RRL pieces that no longer fit me. I've got some buttondowns, shawl collar cardigan and a knit sweater plus the Lighthouse hooded knit sweater (still available) that I'm surprised no one has offered on yet! A pair of waist 31 black officers chinos to come.

I just kopped all three dress style shirts that were left in L and found a tie on Ebay to with them.

Been wearing this like crazy this past week. My new favorite early fall jacket! Robert, SRGProd, and Hoit, how you are you liking yours?

Also bought my first pair of selvage twill officer chinos. I went TTS - I figure I'll get them tailored when the waist stretches, as I didn't want to size down in the thighs. I think this was asked, but I didn't see an answer: do they shrink in length? I'm not much for the rolled look and will likely get the length tailored.

One man's opinion here: the officer chinos I've tried have pretty consistently been 2" larger than tagged, or even a tad more (the shorts I tried were 2.5 - 3" more). These are not low rise, so you don't need room for the hips. But if you need thigh room, don't size down too much. So I'd say 29 if you are a true 31 waist. But it's only $8 for return shipping, so you could consider ordering both sizes (and if my math is correct, ordering both will bring your total over $185, so you'll get free shipping to you, which will offset return shipping).

EDIT: Just noticed they raised the free shipping threshold from $185 to $195.

I would size down 3 if these are anything like this summers shorts, and the officers I picked up from Woodbury recently. I'm a true W36 normally - I tried on the faded black officers in a W33 and although it was relatively tight in the waist, I was surprised at how much room there was in the thigh. The waist will probably stretch like a bugger too.
