Does anyone have the black on blacks? I have the slim fits 1 wash in 31x32 and the waist stretched out to a little over 17" and the thighs are about 12". I have maybe 1.5" extra room in the waist and quarter to a half inch extra room in the thighs. Wondering if I should size down to 30 waist on these.

I take it they don't shrink in the wash?

One more thing..

In terms of sizing, how would you compare size 30 waist in Field Officer chinos vs same size in Twill Officer chinos?

SD1 in Twill Officer compared to Field Officer.

i.e. 29 vs 30 respectively.

I'm kind of stuck in choosing between the RRL Wool Varsity jacket with the Indian head, or the officer chinos rigid...

What do you guys think I should get first, or better yet what do you think will sell faster ?

Grab that Wool Varsity Jacket. When that's gone there won't be any more. It's an heirloom piece.

Also, bags are included in the sale. Grab those as well.

Btw, what's up with all the "polo black" officer chinos and spring creek denim flooding ebay? I thought icons never hit outlets?

Anyone know the vanity sizing for the spring creek 2 low straights? I used to think all RRL was tagged + 2" but two of my size 32 RRL jeans measured 35" and 36" when new and ideally I need a 34" pre-stretch. Seems a lot of sellers aren't lining up the front and back waistband when measuring so if anyone has a pair of these please let me know.

I just got a pair of black on blacks. I actually sized up from a 33 to a 34. I wear a 33 in every fit but I literally could not get the black on blacks in without sizing up. The thighs were way too tight and they went beyond "slim" for me. I actually tried on two pairs in the same size and same issue (so wasn't just random variability). no idea if that's helpful, just my experience.

At the end of the day though, you have to ask yourself if you'll truly be happy with or w/o the designer tag.

I also was served in the military and true military issue is just that and not intended to be fashion. I later left the military with hopes one day I could afford something better and IMO RRL does a good job at reinterpreting of bygone eras (military, woodsman, cowboy, hunter, worker) with that still a manly, yet modern slant.
