Saw this in store.
Jacket is okay but it's Polo, not RRL.
I'd get a Belstaff or Barbour.

Those are looking good Steve! Seems they are pretty hard-wearing. How much stretch did you end up getting on these in the waist?

Tagged size 33, just measured waist BiG style and it's at about 35.75 or so, can't size down though since thighs would be too tight.

question for the RRL experts...I just grabbed a pink RRL ocbd. Its made in Hong Kong but its a little different than my white and blue ones.
1) no selvedge that I can see
2) no side gussets
3) It has a tag on the inside which my other 2 dont have. And its a little weird since it has the words "polo" on the tags. Ive uploaded a pic.

I dont think ive seen any counterfeit RRL gear, could this be? Or is it an older edition maybe?

Thanks for any help

Does the Ralph Lauren store on Newbury Street in Boston carry a decent selection of RRL ?

They used to sell non-selvedge OCBDs.
Lots of RRL stuff has that label with POLO on it.

How did you size for the Officer Chinos? I need plenty of room in the thighs, and don't know how much they vanity size things. I measure a real 35" waist, but often wear either a 33 or 34 depending on the brand. Are they particularly slim in the leg, so that I should even go up a waist size to get enough room? No RL store in my area carries RRL, so I really appreciate the help.

edit: PS. sorry for the size question, but did some searching of the thread and am still unsure about the answer...thanks.

If you live in NY or just like black, online now has your huckleberry....Oh Yeah!

JAT...That last jacket looks well styled but itchy.

Also, I bought a size 33 and took 1.25" off the waist... which gave me more room in the thighs. As mentioned, size for your leg and then tailor the waist. If you're (un)lucky enough to have small skinny scrawny legs, then you can size down for a good fit.
FWIW I'm 6'2", 197lbs, i bought a 33" and wear 33" in the RRL Low Straights, 33" in W+H westpoint chinos.

33" tagged size measures about 35". Get the 33".

Yeah, I checked one of my tags, it has the exact same lettering, "Polo Retail Europe..."

this is the RRL peacoat that i got like 2 weeks ago from that VIP sale for 50% off. i upgraded from my size 34 or 32 sterlingwear, which i had to size down to get the fit i wanted but this made my sleeves and overall length short. this RRL feels much thicker and substantial and actually too thick and rigid since its never been worn
sorry the pics are dark but you can at least see how it fits. im wearing the RRL charcoal chambray shirt underneath the peacoat, both are size XS, im a size 36R, and have room for a thin cardi/sweater.

They finally put this peacoat back up online!

Thinking about getting it as it looks sick here from KoreanDudes fit pic.

Question is, take the 25% or wait for a 40%+ sale?!

Depends on your size.. if you are a M, I would think you have a higher chance of seeing it later after the sale, rather than a XS or S or XL - then you'd have a tougher time waiting...
