It's weird and while I don't miss the regular emails I will be upset if my private sale invites disappear.

I stopped getting emails a while ago too.

Also you should try out the fits to get your sizing right etc. IMO the denam is nicer on the low straights as they are a bit heavier and darker than the denim used on the slims/straights/bootcunts.
Hope dat helps Mr. Phillipe.

Sorry, if this has been discussed many times, but I couldn't find the info.

What is the main difference in cut between the low straights and the straights? Just a lower rise?

What are the sizing recommendations for a medium fit, i.e. not tight but not baggy?

^ Me too. I thought it was just me being snubbed.

You are correct - they are almost the same in the thigh and leg. But the low straight has a really, really low rise. The straight is more of 501-type rise.

Most of the denim is 2" vanity sized. And most people here have experienced lots of stretch in the waist. I'd guess size down 1 if it's not too tight; otherwise go TTS, but expect to eventually have to wear a belt.

i think that the low straights taper more. They aren't REALLY low. Not anything likes wimmin's jeenz.... you won't show any disgusting pubic hair or anything like that.

The low straight is definitely a more modern and flattering fit compared to the straightz.

anyone have fit pics to share? How about you, Jagger_On?

RL used to have epic sales, they used to send me gift cards too, every now and then.

I remember 30-40% off coupons that worked on all items.

Rugby RL used to let you stack Student Discount on top of sale items, can't anymore.

I used to get emails about the sales early, it seems now I get them a tad bit later than usual. Although my parents still get the invitation by mail to their (my former) home.

Give in Style is tentatively scheduled for Sept 27th. No word yet what labels will be included. When they confirm what labels will be included, I'll be sure to give you guys a heads up.

I'm sure this topic has been exhausted, but I have a question on washing/caring for rigid denim:

I have a pair of rigids straight legs I bought back in April. I wear them probably 2-3 times a week. I should wear them more, but summers on the east make that impossible.

My question is, when and why should I soak them? What's the purpose of that? Aside from the fact that they'll smell and get dirty, is there any other benefit of soaking them? And if so, what's the optimal time to do that?

Robert,

Do you know if RL still send out regular emails? I remember getting an email every other week or so, not with discounts, with "new on our website" notifications. I am just wondering if I got wiped but it seems like others have not received those regular emails either.

Yeah emails have dropped off. I didn't get a email code last sale neither, though I did get postcards to 3 different addresses (parents home, fraternity and my apartment) which doesn't make any sense
