Coolio.

Out of interest dude, how did the jacket (in picture 10) fit and any idea on where it was made? Also, what the hell is that in picture 11... looks kinda kinda strange?!

Ha...the guy in the pic is not me. He does not look like a large IMO.

As I have posted i do not live near an RRL store. These pics were sent to me by a very considerate and hard working associate trying to garner my business. I simply posted for the thread what I was sent.

As for pic #11...it looks like a euro style moto jacket to me. I have little kids now so I unfortunately I no longer ride an iron horse...since we moved to the country we now ride four legged ones.

Update:

We just received a ton of vintage stuff for RRL. If any of you have a high interest in any piece, I can take detailed photos of the particular item and take measurements. Please note, vintage items are non-refundable.

-The sunglasses range from 195-495. Some come with vintage case, others do not. Range from glasses from the the 30s-50s.

-The vintage scarves are very cool. Some of them are patchwork. 3 red and around 6 blue. Range from 195-225.

-Can't really see, but we have 6 vintage collar pins. 65.

-2 zippo lighters. One is from WWII, iirc. The other is from the Korean war (very detailed, has map of Korea, with the 38th parallel.) Around 300.

-Belts range from around 32-36". Around 195.

More vintage:

WWII era Peacoats. We have a 38", 40", and 42". 2 are 8 button double breasted. The other is 6 button. 495-595.

50s Harley Davidson jacket. Very small. Probably, close to an XS. Awesome piece. 3,200 irrc.

We have one more vintage coat. I forgot to take a pic of it. It is a double breasted shawl collar rancher's coat. Grey/cream herringbone. 1950.

I'll take pictures of it tomorrow.

Let me know if you guys are interested in anything. I'm off today, but will be in tomorrow.

Thanks,

Robert

Nice vintage-y things Robert. Out if interest, what sort of condition is the 42" peacoat in?

Robear, I seem to remember you saying that you bought the Hooded Jersey Anorak. If so, did you end up keeping it?

It's on sale at the moment for under $200 - would you reckon that's a good price / deal or not?

I did Hoit and I really like it. Material is really substantial and it has those anchor buttons you mentioned liking. Not the easiest on and off (trim fitting and no stretch) but I think well worth the current $. Look forward to wearing in October or November. I haven't worn it yet as it is 114* today in Texas. devil.gif

P.S. If anyone knows where I can find this shirt in L....please let me know. Thanks1000

Was at the Bleecker st store today - all the sale stuff was cleared out except for a few pieces of denim, mostly the nevada and repaired washes. Was thinking of picking up a pair, but passed. Already did enough damage during this sale and I've always been ambivalent about extremely distressed washes.

Anyone know how much longer the online sale will be on for?

Fall/Winter fashions were on-line until late February or early March and prices were discounted deeper than current price cuts. Based on that I'd expect the on-line sale to last at least until late August and probably one more round of price cuts.

I believe $169, so less than online. But you should call to double check. They had a mix of sizes.
