I wear 11 in most boots and the 11 in the new murdock fits me perfect. I wear 11-11.5 in most sneakers though. I'd go down a half size

the bottoms 700

wide julians fit like boats

new style on the left very narrow and fit so good

Hanansi is a pretty well know ebay seller of legit RRL, not my favorite seller, but pretty well-established. His prices are retarded though, but he does end up moving stuff.

just asking because I always suspect ANYTHING clothing related on ebay as fake unless I see tags and a purchase receipt. Even those can be faked... let's just say I don't buy much clothing on ebay haha

I agree. I have been able to haggle and get a better price with him but his prices are generally crap. He has really nice stuff though and that jacket is 100% genuine.

Robert, you should try a regular tailor next time, not the RL store. I bet you could've gotten that done for around $50. Still not cheap for a $279 jacket, though.

KMD,  I actually went in thinking even $70 no problem cause I loved the jacket when it came in. However for alterations I specifically wanted a RL tailor to do the work. If not up to my satisfaction then I am not liable where with an outside tailor and sub par work=I am SOL.

The actual piece in person was awesome though!

I would say real as I have no reason to believe otherwise as everything he  sells appears legit.

As for fit I bought that jacket last year and be advised the L is humungous....I could have fit 2 of me in it and I wear a large in every other RRL jacket or coat.

this is the Rugby Naval overshirt i purchased at the outlets, i got 1 Small and 2 Mediums. i'm going to keep the mediums so the Small is up for grabs. no proxy fee, just cost ($25, retail was $128) plus shipping to you. truly a great piece, heavy, 100% cotton, and could have very well been in the naval-inspired RRL collections as of recent.

if you ever wanna part away with one of the mediums please let me know I like Rugby as well.

Interesting.

Any fit pics or comparison pics of the two pairs?

Just wanted to throw up a picture of a piece that I haven't seen online yet. It is from the second fall collection, Isle of Mann TT. It's an awesome oilcloth moto vest. It has two big pockets on the back near the bottom. 590, I believe.

Also, we just got our shipment of the Fisher Jacket

http://www.ralphlauren.com/product/index.jsp?productId=13136249&cp=&kw=fisher+outerwear&origkw=fisher+outerwear&sr=1

This thing is insane. The small probably weighs 10lbs. I thought the shelf was going to break when I hung up the XXL. The jacket feels like it could survive z-day.

Nice looking piece Robert (thanks fo the headsup yesterday. With all those pockets and 10+lbs who needs a rucksack. As for the jacket do belted jackets sell very well in the US?

I just got this seasons Broken Twill Plaid Workshirt delivered. Bought it on eBay (new with tags) for $60 shipped. Its very soft and thick - will be great for autumn. Nice buttons too.

This is a great vest. Very heavy, very legit... perfect for hunting, fishing, or disarming a bomb. I was checking it out next to the fair isle cardigan, which incidentally is not quite as nice in person. There was a chunky brown wool sweater (cardigan I think) that I actually liked better.

Yes the peacoat is a bit roomy but it's meant to be worn with a thick sweater underneath. I would not say it's crazy big though. It's a pretty faithful military repro so it doesn't fit quite as slim as the Polo version. The wool is like a super thick army blanket so it's not like your average gap or jcrew peacoat. It blocks winter winds like a champ!

What didn't you like about the fair isle cardigan?

Not the cardigan, but I saw the fair isle printed crewneck in-store and it was already pilling.
