Pre-owned PRL Heritage Chinos on Marrkt - size 31 - if anyone is interested. I would have picked them up, but I just picked up a pair of Buzz Rickson's 1942 chinos.
I sure would appreciate a report on the Buzz chinos.
I’ve been going back and forth between these, Bronson’s and RRL’s field chinos. I finally pulled the trigger on RRL’s but it was more the devil I know than anything and after shipping and taxes I’m wondering if i could get by with one of the cheaper alternatives.

The Buzz chinos should arrive next week. They are coming from Japan. I'll post on here after I receive them.

Anyone else experiencing heel slippage with RRL chelsea boots, even though the size is right? If so, any way to deal with/solve it?

I've got Bronson's and RRLs field chinos and the Buzz Rickson 1942 chinos.

All are pretty good but I think Buzz's are the best of the three. The quality is on par with RRL for a much better price. The Bronson MFG are fantastic for the price but the both the Buzz's and the RRL have a bit better finishing.

When I bought mine from Bronson a few years ago, they were like $40 and at that price, even after factoring in the cost of their very slow shipping, they were the clear winner of the three. They've gone up in price since then and I still think they're a pretty good value at their current ~$75 price but if I also have to pay for shipping, I'd rather shop around and get the Buzz Rickson.

All that said, for this style of chino, I think Full Count's "1941 Army Chino" are my favorite, though theirs have jumped from about $150 a few years back to $270 now.

Just got messaged about another 500$ off 1000$ sale at the end of the month in store. Probably one of the better sales during the year since it typically includes RRL and PL without many exclusions.
Do any of you know if these promotions also work in european stores?

Anyone have experience with the fit of the Officer chinos? The product pic makes them look kind of slim and low rise, but hard to know

these are straight fit and run a little bit larger than my usual size, i wear 30 for most of my pants but these officer chino fits like 31, my 30 waist jeans measures usually about 78cm but these measure like 80cm, and yes these are mid low rise, atleast in my opinion, my W30L32 officer chino has only a 23-24cm rise, for me high rise pants rise should over 30cm, mid rise should around 26 27cm, just give you these measurements for reference
