Do they have any of the non-selvage oxfords in XS? Could/would anyone be willing to proxy a white and a blue one for me (an unfortunate resident of Australia - great country, just limited in sartorial choice)?

@4saken If you were asking about the Henley's in terms of what I may have seen, then yes, both the West Broadway Polo store and RRL on Price had some... both the blue and the white colors.

I was actually asking for the Barneys stores, but thanks for the information. I'm in Australia so I can't really access those stores (whereas I can get somebody in the US to call a Barneys store quite easily)

Oh I do know that there are some of them at Barneys NY, though I'm not sure of which sizes. I was there a few days ago...

Every time I go to a RL outlet store, I find myself naively hoping that I'll find a marked-down deadstock pair from several years ago, when they were still using the fuzzy Japanese denim with the turquoise selvage. I like the newer denim too, and it's nice that the ridiculous sizing issues have gotten sorted out, but there was just something about that denim...

Was just at the RRL Bleecker St. store. Tried on the Selvage Officer Chinos. The color is darker than the regular Chinos, and yes, thicker, nicer and stiffer. They were a little big (which surprised me because I sized down to try on a 31 and it was a perfect fit; whereas it'd probably stretch to a "32" and be a bit big) anyhow, I liked them but not enough to pull the trigger. The Cashmere/Wool blend sweaters were a real treat; I think those are a great piece in the collection (Blue and Dark Green; Cardigan and Regular V Neck) priced at $250 / $275

The Black Slim Fit jeans are to die for as well, though I'm still sticking with my Dior Slimane eras for now (which I wore for a year straight in 2006 and still wear on occasion)

I think the Selvage Off Chinos are tremendous. I pulled the trigger during F&F and I love them. I did end up getting them altered a little. They run big in the waist, so I had mine taken in, and had the seat taken in a bit, after realizing there was just too much fabric there for my bony ass. I washed them once to get any shrinkage out, and ended up with a really odd crease/streak down one leg. Sorta bummed, but also sorta cool. Thus is the evolution of fabric....

Yeah I hear you oboy_oboy,

I might have to think on it a bit then i'll get them, though you're right, the seat is a bit big. Do you have any pictures of them worn in a bit? I'm curious

I haven't really put in a lot of time in them yet, but they are starting to soften up. Still nicely stiff, tho. I will take some pics soon and drop them in here for you. It's a spendy pant, for sure, but I've been hunting and this is damn near perfect--the F&F discount helped a lot. (I am looking forward to seeing the Wolf vs. Goat work pants and chinos, though!)

Very cool, thanks oboy.

I've got a hook up for a discount here in NYC, though I'm still going to wait and see how they pan out for you + any others who might be into posting some wear pics

Barney's in Dallas has two full racks of clothes and a lot of jeans too. Nothing has been marked down yet.

It was odd to me that RRL has tags that say $185 suggest retail and then barney's marks that up to 200.
