Where Will Michael Vick End Up?

Now that he's out of prison (sort of), when Vick is reinstated, who will take a chance on him? My first bet is the Raiders, for all the wrong reasons. However I think Carolina might consider taking a chance. They have a limited window of opportunity remaining with the current roster, a great running game, and already have a scattershot QB, so Vick's completion. He's familiar with the division and has a following in the South (no sure how much is left). Call me crazy. Thoughts?

I can't imagine why anyone would think about signing him. He was never great enough in his prime to risk alienating all those fans, and he won't have played in a few years by then so who knows how he'll come back. What's the point?

Have to think the Raiders are the most likely, just because of Al Davis. Cowboys would be a good bet any other year, but Jerry Jones seems to be divesting himself of criminals/poor character guys.

It'll be interesting to see what the fan reaction is for whatever team signs him. I wonder if the owner will require some sort of volunteer work/charitable donation on Vick's part that he can use to try to justify the signing.

Media attention. Stick him on some shitty team like the Lions and you'd have instant media coverage.

I doubt Vick will do any charitable donations since he's bankrupt and in the hole by several million dollars.

He will NOT start straight outta prison.

A. His onyl real asset was his legs. He didnt get much use out of them in a 10x6 cell the last 18 months.

B. He will spend the first year in the CFL. Then, once he proves he can be an adult and not lie to his boss's he will get a backup gig in the NFL.

C. I dont know where in the NFL he will end up. Did anyone expect T.O. to go to Buffalo??? THey were the LAST team I woulda thought of, so who knows? Could be a surprise contender out there that needs a decent backup in 2 years( tamps/jets?)

I think people need to get over the "He's a criminal" deal. He paid his debt to society, now he just needs to prove to his team that he wont lie over and over and over again. That is the issue at hand now.

Agreed. I can see him in the black & silver. His criminal record will be considered mild to some of the fans that show up to the game. I would really like to see the Bears take him because once Jay Cutler crashes & burns, we'll have Vick in line to do the same.

I think the Vikes would be willing to take a shot at him as well, he could really make them a playoff contender . . . what a double run threat that'd be.

Vikes seem like an obvious option since many feel they are a legit QB away from being a serious contender.

However, I don't think anyone's going to be bringing Vick in to start at QB, and I remember Zygi Wilf being none too pleased about that boat incident a few years ago...not sure how well he'd tolerate Vick.

Vick + ADP would be scary though (if Vick still has his legs).
