I have hair all over my body and it's a major PITA to trim. Lately I've been getting these thick hairs on my neck and shoulders, but they're very sporadic. The weird thing is that while I have hair everywhere, it's really thin on my arms and legs. I've had my neck lasered once but I've been too lazy to go back. Waxing also sucks because after two weeks, it starts to grow back and it just looks like shit.

I feel your pain.

i used the trimmer on my electric shaver to trim the hair on my forearms last night, for the first time. i like it. i think it somehow makes my arms look a little thicker. i had a my neck waxed a few weeks ago and it was one of, if not the, most painful physical experience of my life. i'm not going back.

I only shave Mr. Johnson and his nutty friends, and occasionally my back and shoulders. The rest of me is cool as is. Found out the hard way a while ago that it is much better to use a razor that an electric trimmer on the sack.

UGH took like an hour, and involved the clipper on #4, #2 and #1, as well as the mangroomer... LOL Never did the hair on the forearms, might try that at like #4-2.

Why are you going hairless? Embrace the Tom Selleck and for god's sake, don't shave your forearms or legs.

Why trim? Why not just laser that shit off? I'm sure your woman/man will thank you when she/he is no longer coughing up hairballs.

The fact that it costs upwards of thousand of dollars may have something to do with it.

Instead of shaving 'particularly sensative areas' you can use Magic Shaving Powder. Doesn't have the pain of waxing. Smells like cornflower though and is very messy.

If you use it elsewhere, you may suffer from ingrown hairs, so take precautions.

True, but you don't have to go all the way with laser hair removal - three times can give great permanent reduction results.

Has anyone else heard of silk'n? It's an at home laser hair removal going for $800. To date, there's nothing but good news about it. What we need is a willing SF guinea pig. Here are the places where it can be bought:

I challenge you to go through the wardrobes of SF members and then repeat that. $1000 spread over the course of several treatments is not really that much money for a permanent benefit.

At the end of the day, laser is the way to go. It might be expensive, but if you're going to make the decision to do the snip, why not actually do the snip?

So you never get a haircut? Never shave your face? Really?

Nice logic there...

I don't think you should just up and go shave your balls but this doesn't make any sense.
