Chicagoans - bars with outdoor patios in Wicker Park

Despite being a longtime resident, my last year+ away from the city has me a little clueless about what's new in this town.

I'm back briefly and when deciding where to go last night with a complete out-of-towner friend, I was at a loss. Given the beautiful weather, an outdoor patio was a must and I am a fan of my old hood, Wicker Park, but when trying to put the two together, all I could come up with were the horrible, new, out-of-place sportsbars along Division or, god forbid, Cans. Now that Pontiac has closed, who else has a pleasant outdoor patio area and isn't dominated by the Lincoln Park crowd?

(Personally, I always head to Violet Hour, Gallery Cabaret, or, recently, Bar DeVille, but none of these places have an outdoor seating area)

You might try one of the following:

The Ledge, 1745 North Avenue
Fuel, 1725 West Division
The Edge, 1700 West Division
Tocco, 1266 North Milwaukee

Based on those other places listed seems you might be too old to get down with the hipster crowd at Handlebar? They have a nice little "beer garden"

add Chaise Lounge and Northside Tap
