Ralph Lauren Double Monk Strap Brown (from Gilt) 11E (fits like D) $175

$175 shipped

I dont know the retail on these, but I would think they are around $500

I purchased these from Gilt a few weeks ago. I dont like them. I prefer shoes made in England. I am taking over a $100 loss on these. My loss is your gain.

These shoes are very nice. However, I would prefer the C&J version. Which is why i am selling.

These are made in Italy. Brand new in box. I tried on the right shoe... and never removed the left shoe from the box. I walked around my carpeted office with the right shoe (to see how the shoe looks), so it has a very tiny crease... the kind that you get when you walk in a shoe. They come with shoe bags for the shoes (blue and the bags say Ralph Lauren).

These shoes are an 11E, however, the fit like an 11D

Length (outside of shoe) is 12 1/4 inches
Width (widest point outside of shoe) is 4 and 3/16th inches.
Slightly less than 4 1/4 inches.

ship to the usa only.

I took some pictures with my blackberry... i can try to email them if you are interested. They are too big to post on styleforum... so maybe tonight i will figure out photobucket or some other place to host them

If you need more pics... my fellow SF members had the below posts.

What is it that makes you like the C&J 348 better? Which shoe has a more pointed toe (RL or C&J)?

It has nothing to do with the shoe itself. I am simply a snob and prefer C&J. I find that English made shoes (for the most part) have a bit more weight to them.

I dont know enough about these shoes to make a comparison.

I took 3 pictures with my Blackberry. They are not good pictures... the best i can do. I put them in the below album. I have never used photobucket before so i hope the link works. thanks

EDIT: One more thing. I just tried on the right shoe again. I really think these shoes are very narrow. These are pretty much a D width in my opinion (despite being labeled and E width). The narrow width of the shoe is also the product of the last of the shoe being very narrow. It is not one of those fat lasts that a lot of shoes have. Very narrow, in my opinion. If you wear a size 11E, i would not suggest getting these shoes. A D width at the widest.

Thanks
