Do you have the Sherwood book? There's a section of photographic plates with a number of Dougie Hayward's stuff for various clients, including one for McQueen in TCA.

I do. I like that book. I've been wondering what type of suit his shop cuts now but nobody here seems to have visited it or ordered a suit from them.

It didn't get better on the second go-round.

The McQueen suit is a pretty good nomination. I was watching that movie just last night, and had I know you (gdl) were going to mention it, I'd have paid more attention.

Thanks robin - incredibly modern and classic at the same time. The cut of the vest bottom works really well with the silhouette. Gorge height is spot on for me

I like the vest, too. And the lapels. But the coat's a bit shapeless for my tastes, and the shoulders a bit wide. A nice suit, but no Steed.
