Why the f---k is Cee-Lo in a video with Asher Roth?

I was with some friends and some chemical aid, we decided to watch some MTV Jamz last night. Despite my rather outre music taste I'm a sucker for slick, highly-produced mainstream hip hop. That being said why the fuck is Asher "Date Rape, every fucking awful white suburban boy stereotype" Roth getting matched up with a true hip hop icon? I know good weed ani't cheap but Cee-lo, you trippin mayn..... In other news, the new Busta track with Weezy and Jadakiss is hot fire.

I like Asher Roth and I like Cee-Lo.

It's OK to be a suburban white boy and like a suburban white boy rapper, Magi. You won't lose any of that hard fought street cred you have.

Black folks aren't very good gauges of whether a white musician is talented. Cee Lo worked with The Pussy Cat Dolls.

I think he actually wrote a decent amount of there songs? including "Don'cha." Still that's a little different then a straight up collab.

Ed I got no problem with white boys (El-P is easily one of my favorite rappers) I do have a problem with average flow and vapid, frat-boy lyrics.

I like Ross's new album. They ended up being modified. Some guy takes real LV's and makes them better looking supposedly.

I heard conflicting reports on that. Ross says they were modified but Rap Report and LV says they were out and out counterfeit. I have a pair of Prada sunglasses and I don't think I'd need to get them "tricked out" for any reason.

BTW who do you think is winning the Ross/50 beef?

The guy ho modifies them came out and co signed Ross. He has been profile in mag previously.
I'd say Ross probaly won for now at least, 50's songs were pretty lame, though the video with Ross's baby mother is still classic.

I was leaning more towards 50. I really liked "what Tia told me" and Ross, I felt lost a lot of credibility by denying he was a corrections officer. Ross just came out and attacked Em on another track calling him a Honky...wow. Rap seems so much more interesting sometimes when there's a beef going on.
