sounds like it'd be out of his price range but yeah, MF should always be in the discussion when you're talking about chambray/denim wear.

You guys can hate on UO all you want but these 2 don't look bad at all for $30. Stuff is usually cheaper in the stores too. Probably can be had for $20. There are always free shipping coupons too. I kinda want another denim workshirt for light summer jackets and shorts http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban...ALE&prepushId= http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban...ALE&prepushId=

I was in a gap yesterday and they had a shockingly cool chambray workshirt with mismatched chest pockets. Probably on par with that Koto from UO.

I honestly wish i was in orlando because it'd be fun to go grab those koto enginner pants, a simple white tee, and then alternate between that peacoat thing and one of the workshirts, pair with some chunkier worn in congac colored laceups/boots or black or red chucks and just rock loose fitting naval workwear stuff for a season. Maybe get a flat cap and brown leather bracelet or something. Play with the vests and even get some misterfreedom jcrew tshirts or layer an oxford under. People could make so many solid outfits for cheap with some creativity and other pieces. Don't get hung up on the brands Superbobo- tell me this wouldn't work. You'd be down with those outfits, right? I'm tempted to do this if the orlando store has stuff on deep sale when i'm in town a few weeks from now Regardless of not having rrl quality, people hating on the koto stuff while all over jcrew's dick are kinda weird. It's closer to EG workwearish in styling than jcrew prep though. Attn Robbie: I just laid out some outfits for you. Get to it man

I don't dislike it just because it's Koto. i really wanted to pick up a few things when I was at UO the other day. Personally, I thought the fit, construction, and materials were way subpar compared to EG, MFSC, and maybe even J Crew. At this point, I only want to own a few, super high quality shirts, so I couldn't justify it. For someone with less funds who isn't quite as OCD as I am, I think Koto is just fine.

Does anybody know of any affordable Red Chambray shirt? I've seen the studio d'artisan, which is awesome, but $200 is more than I'd want to spend. I'm looking around $100. Thanks.

^I've been looking for a while, and I'm pretty sure there is no red chambray shirt under $100. You might look out on Ebay, but you still probably won't see one.

my clothing 'budget' has been used on suits/shirts/shoes/groomsmen gifts etc... but you are right. Those are all great ideas, all things I plan to do/try to do with pieces i've already got. Though koto being a UO house brand a lot of the stuff will probably spend a month or two on the 19.99 or less rack and then drop even more drastically.

Red Chambray kids- I think EG has a SS 'mulberry' chambray for less than 2 bills. And while its not the same at all, and more of a western than a 'work' shirt Wrangler has very solid cranberry colored 100% cotton western work shirts for around 35$ if you know a good tailor thats what 15$ tops to have it fitted as you desire. BANG! 50 red chambray shirt. Or you could bend over and take the 200$ price from EG/SDA et. al.

I do hate to display my ignorance but as a new member to this forum I have to ask, what exactly is "B&S"?

Rag and Bone also released a red chambray this season, but it's $235.

Does anyone have recommendations for work type denim shirts (not into the western look right now)? I've been trying to find ones simliar to this J. Crew Denim Utility Shirt but with a better, less boxy fit and perhaps better quality:

Would like one with the same type of worn wash as above, but also another in a dark indigo (which I'm guessing will be chambray denim, can't seem to find dark denim shirts. Is History Preservation the way to go?)
