You don't think aesthetic appreciation and emotional payoff are logical reasons to purchase something? They may be impractical in the most basic meaning of the word but they're hardly illogical.

Clothing is almost completely irrational, just like any adornment.

However, it's something almost everyone enjoys, spending money on things they don't need.

The whole point of cost to benefit is silly when your already dealing with emotions and groupthink.

The value is in the eye of the beholder.

My eye values those canvas over leather and washed cordovan boots

If I already had my basics down, I would blow my cash wad on a pair of those.

They are about right with bespoke shoes, price wise.

not a fan of the trainers but the jacket looks great and the boots (which look mostly like repeats) are top notch. i have 2 pair of the kudu leather high boots

I only sneakers I like are the very first ones from S/S 2010 in blk/white. Leather shirt/jacket is looking promising. I may grab the linen/canvas over calf boots this spring.
