I don't use my pager, but I have one... I tell them call my cell or gtfo!

could be done with some prepping.. Last summers backpacking trip was with a cell phone, but used it only for a handfull of text messages and some calls after 2,5 weeks.. Computer was easier, the greasy webshops available just werent my cup of tea..
