I just read an paper in some economics journal about how the favorites are always underpriced because of people's natural inclination to "out think" the book. I sent my friend who is in vegas a link to it this morning. I sure hope he read it...

I didnt see the actual race but did see the video online. Was pretty cool and I am not even into racing (as an aside I have gotten back into the stock market recently so maybe I am the gambling type).

But whats with the racing style of Mine that bird? Keeping way back and then making his move after the half way mark? is that what killed him here? Had he had more room would he have overtaken her?

Besides, its not really fair. Put one woman in front of 12 males whose future is stud fees and of course she is gonna run like mad.
