I was on my way to work this morning and heard this brief vignette from John Lienhard's "Engines of our Ingenuity" public radio show. Here's a transcript: http://www.uh.edu/engines/epi1739.htm

Vintage Gent, Great article, thanks. I would love to see the 1911 long version of wool.

Good thing the 1911 is in the public domain. http://2.1911encyclopedia.org/W....RES.htm It's a scanned OCR version, so there are a number of minor errors. Distributed Proofreaders is working on proofing the entire encyclopedia but has only gotten through the letter D -- I think.

Great find, Kent.

Kent, Amazing. Good job. I used the search feature set to the 1911 and found some other great articles.
