That's what i've been going for but am yet to find something I feel confident with. I bought one from target earlier this year but it looks so much better on my girlfriend that it now resides in her closet.

ARW,BR, GS (both of em),PG, PP, LK, Foof etc. would end up plastered all over this if I went solely on my favorite pictures and looks, so instead I spent some time looking for people who had a relatively low post count that still had it. Edit- and a SoCal pic that I dig. I just found the first SoCal WAYWT that I really like a lot This one is mostly about the vibe Simple works

i think the issue is that pictures really just reflect the individuals tastes instead of really showcasing something special. they are very few looks I've seen in the waywt thread that make me go 'wow', and I haven't seen any of them show up in this thread. I think an example is brian sd's juun j fur collar coat - it was really mind blowing. another good example is some of socals recent raf stuff - really spot on.

^^ While I kindof agree, I don't know how practical/useful some of that actually is. Like when I see Neofiniata or SoCal's stuff, it's so completely out there/weird that I can say "wow", but there's nothing about it I'm actually going to do. It's pushing "fashion" or a strong personal aesthitic that I can't/wouldn't go anywhere near. so for me the "best of WAYW" are interesting little touches that most normal people can actually take inspiration from.

that post on the last page was pretty much variations of a theme. and it is rather boring. and thats how i dress. man am I fucking lame.

Good lord lets not get into another discussion of how boring our collective fits are. The point is to enjoy it, not get mired in what if's and I wish's.

well, for me what makes a good fit is a combination of several things.. appreciation for a specific item - sometimes people just post a picture containing an especially nice piece (ie: indys, some paul smith boots, etc) cool background - honestly this shouldn't really matter, but it does and then how the clothes fit. this is almost secondary though.

I agree. if PG posted all his fits from myspace angles in a dirty bedroom with bad lighting and a shitty cam... well.... they would suck.
