Mojitos, Daiquiris, Dark & Stormy's, and the old standby Rum & Coke with extra lime. I'd go with handles of Mt. Gay for the rum for a good taste/value combo.

Frozen drinks. Pina colada, daquiri's, margarita's, etc.. Just get some shitty mix and get out your blender.

Depends on the mood/setting -Champagne is classic -i love martinis, manhattans etc, but do you want to get out and make drinks if there's no bartender Pitcher drinks ftw -it's not that bad making mojitos in a jug... i like to strain the mint after muddling (can be blended?) -home made lemonade with bourbon (lynchburg lemonade) or cognac (sidecar, v. tasty) -long island ice tea or something similar will be tasty AND get everyone hammered And my personal suggestion if you have a very good liquor store nearby... buy some pimms! Sort of similar to sangria, but tastier. It's quite light but you can really charge it with gin and it'll still taste good

How old/experienced a drinker will the average attendee be? If it's kids, yeah, fruit flavored girly drinks, to hide the alcohol. If not, you want drinks that will not foster a repeated need to get out of the hot tub and pee. So pitchers of manhattans, martinis, etc.
