Polo Darlton Shoe:  Wingtip vs Plain Toe

To those of you have either have seen or own both shoes, do the two dark brown cordovan models have the same shade of brown or are they different. The pictures seem to show that the plain toe version is a lighter brown with some antiquing while the wing tip is a uniform darker brown. Wing Tip Plain Toe - Select Dark Brown to see picture

I own both. They are the same color. There is always some color variation in cordovan leather anyway.

I have the wingtip.  That one is definitely brown.  I would get the plaintoe (the 40% off SUMMER code is quite tempting) but I've just recently purchased 6 or 7 pairs of shoes that have yet to be worn.

The plain toe comes across sleeker, on account of the lack of broughing. I wear both all the time, with so many different clothes. I consider them among my best purchases.
