I'm an 8UK in C&J 348 but have a couple of pairs of different shoes such as a Paul Smith Starr in UK 7. Jus' trying to be helpful ...

Sorry I was a little brusque up there. I personally dont think I can fit in any 8.5UK unless it is one of those 'designer' size labelling in which sometimes a 56R has a P2P of 22"

Definitely e-mail Richard sizing wise. That man knows his stuff. If you've got some C&Js or Loakes, or AS he can give you a fairly accurate comparison last/size wise.

I have a 6.5 in coffee. I think you need to size up slightly, probably by half a size compared to say cj 337. The last is rather slim. I would add that these monks are probably not that suitable for those with wider feet.
