Trickers call them "Coffee" colour and im led to believe they were made for the Japanese market to "Lobb Standards!" for a retailer out there. Im also led to believe they were to retail at way more than Trickers usually do.

They certainly look fantastic and reaffirm my view that Trickers are very underrated.

Hope so! They just posted a pair in my size and I bought it.
I've been looking for a pair of C&J Lowndes to pop up on eBay but these seem better in quality and in a nice last similar to 348 (which I like a lot).

Yes they are, I already got a pair from the factory shop and they are very nice, unfortunately the last is not a perfect fit for me, but a very well made shoes anyway.
Also, the factory shop posts good deals on eBay, they used to be even better, but still a very good offer.

My next Tricker's will probably be a special order canvas and calf spectator based on the Belgrave adelaide ...

I've also jumped in on these. Was lucky enough to spot a UK 8 pop up just now. They are definitely a steal at that price. Quite a few sold already...

They've just put a lot more of those on BTW UK Sizes 5.5 / 7.5 / 8

Nice looking shoes. If they're in Tricker's coffee leather they'll actually be a shade or two darker than the photos make them appear, but as they age you'll get these lighter, honeyish tones coming through. I have a pair of the Henry jodhpur boots in that colour which I'm very attached to.

Quite like the look of the low-cut chelseas they've got on the same last. Pity I'm out of the shoe market for the moment.

Waiting for them to pop up in my size (9.5 UK). I would love to get a black double monk. BTW, should I get the same size as in C&J ?

Not sure on this last. I'm an 8E in the 348 so getting the same size for these.

Same reasoning for me, 7E in 348, got a 7E in these.

BTW looks like they're discharging a whole lot, maybe the shop that ordered them went down ...

Woweezowee! I actually bought the same coffee coloured Trickers double monks from a fellow Singaporean SF member today. Very nice indeed. Like some of you I was waiting for a CJ Lowdnes on the 'bay or a trip to P Lal in KL but the offer was too good to pass.

No regrets and the fact that AJ said it was made to Lobbs standard for the Japanese market makes feel even more smug now.

^^ I wouldnt know a Lobb if it came and hit me on the face. It was Kevin who said that
