What products do you use? Have you tried Zaino?
These days, products from Optimum - http://optimumcarcare.com/index.php in particular, the Poli-Seal and Opti-Seal. My car is pearl white and my choice would be different with a darker color I think.

I've tried Zaino, I've moved on.

I used Zaino for years, but now I am on to other products.

Lately I am using mostly Swisswax, Einzett and Adam's.

I used Zaino for a few years, then switched to 1Z. Now, I don't really use anything as I barely wash the car.

I use Zaino. It's great. They have a new product that provides protection for almost a year. I notice that just driving through rain refreshes the shine.

Same here. Best sealant I have found and I have tried almost everything. I use Z-2Pro on my metallic silver paint and spray Z-8 on it after every wash.

Zaino has some really great products, but you do have to spend the time. I need to wax my car for the summer months. Just wondered what else is out there that requires less time. Ha ha.

To save time, but not get nearly as good results, you could try a good, easy-removal carnauba like P21S.

Zaino products really are great but you're right, they can be a pain in the rear to apply.

I have switched to this: Optimum car wax (with the Optimum No Rinse Wash )

So much easier. Not really inexpensive but I really like it.

A somewhat accurate description, I've found. Zaino's chief selling point is that, while it does seem to take a while to do the first application (wash, clay, seal, cure, etc), once it's on you're done for 6 months to a year. Except everyone seems to go bling crazy and keeps piling on coats!

I've tried them all and have a wardrobe of waxes. I like Zymol Carbon for the M Coupe during the summer - great shine, but it doesn't last long. For spring and fall, I like Meguiars NXT, which last a bit longer, has good shine, stands up to precipitation. For winter, I put on a coat a Collinite 476 after Thanksgiving and leave it until Spring. Decent shine, very durable wax.

I've used Klasse All in One with good success. Much faster than wax and seems to work just as well
