So,how many speeding tickets did you get after you bought the car?

Luckily I have driven BMWs for 10 years now, so the speeding tickets that usually come with the first have long receded into memory..

Black with grey leather interior. Wowzer.

Congrats, excellent choice.

Comes with the territory of driving anything half-decent. I used to get stop-light racers revving at me almost daily when I was driving my old M3. I can only imagine how bad it is in a Porsche or Ferrari or something like that.

Cruise control is my best friend when driving. It helps to prevent getting tickets.

Something is wrong if there's not a beat up Civic glued to my ass and/or revving during at least one part of my drive.. The new-body style Honda Accord Coupe drivers are often guilty of this too. I think they are a bit insecure..

Lawman,
Let me be the 18th to give you kudos for your new car. We have a 550 but my wife drives it 98% of the time. It took 2 minutes driving it to know it is fantastic car. Love the acceleration and handling.

Are you new to it and what do you think of the idrive? Can anybody else compare the new 2009 version to older version? Better, worse or about the same?

What wheels are on your car? One note, if you drive in snow you will definitely need snow tires next winter. The car will not go in snow. I put Blizzaks on last year and have no issues now.

I remember seeing a dropped, tinted, black/black 550 blast past me in the rain on the 407. I nearly nutted. A thing of beauty.

On the V6 coupe... 4 makes 190. I had an Integra LS which made 130 or so w/o VTAK. That thing was fun but not too quick.
