Lower-rise, stovepipe legged jeans

Thread Starter
I am looking for a pair of raw denim, stovepipe (no flare, but not tapered) legged jeans with a short-ish rise (9-10 in). I thought about the APC Rescue, but looks like it might have a fairly high rise. Some of the APC descriptions are confusing. ("neither low, nor high"). Any other brand/model recommendations if not APC? Thanks.

thanks. the slim jim is sweet. i'll be in l.a. next weekend, so i'll have to check out the nudies at fred segal. not a big fan of the "wave" stitch but the denim looks great (in the photos anyway).

Are the APC New Standards tapered? I thought they were completely straight. I'll have to check myself. They have like a 10 inch rise though.. maybe a little too high

They are a liiiiitttle tapered. But then again this is with the 36" inseam. Once you get them hemmed to a normal length you really can't tell. I actually like the leg a lot but wish it were just a tad bit wider (1/8-1/4").
