How do you store your belts? - Page 2

Those pyschydelic color hangers hurt my eye.

Completely unacceptable for a SFmite.

My son is not a member here. Please guys, look at the size ratio between the suit coats & the belts. Unless I were Foo, these could not be my suits

I hang my belts on a belt rack.

I throw them on the floor or leave them in my pants (jeans).

I wonder how many other people use a belt rack...

Wife put little plastic hooks with 3m 2 way tape along the backsides of the shoe rack shelves in the closet. Plastic will not react with sterling or brass also, lets them hang free when not in use -- helps keep them straight esp the tips. Even my horsehide (not the shell they are Kramer's double thickness for wearing my IWB holsters) will hang flat after a week or so because the flat back of the wood keeps the belt from curling if the belt was just hanging free.

I rolled all my belts and put them inside my shoes. It's the only way to keep the belts whose color tones go well with the paired shoes.

By the by, anyone know what the Crockett and Jones "silver" buckles are made out of? I'm such a pleb.

@Aperipan ...if you put your belts in your shoes, where do the shoe trees go?!?

I keep them through the belt loops of my pants as I'm lazy and will be wearing them almost daily. My few formal belts get hung up.

Chrome plated tie hanger with two hooks on the bottom of each side. Haven't noticed any scratching of the buckles from that

I store my belts rolled & with my shoes. I bought some shelving to hold my shoes & belts (Home Depot). This way I don't have to think when I need my shoes, the belts are ready. See photo. I also use similar shelving for my rolled ties, only I have a sheet of plastic over that one to keep dust out.

Now you never have to worry about which belt to wear with which shoes.

I have something similar to this. I think rolled is supposed to be best for the belts. Or at least I think I read that somewhere.
