Review of her final show in Sheffield, England (originally scheduled for March). So sad that it's over. http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/Tina-T...ena.5237528.jp

I went to one of her shows in her final tour. In Y2K. I'm not kidding. Auburn Hills, The Palace.

Those outfits look rather ridiculous in pictures. But seeing the show in real life, it was a really sexy show. Then again, I was pretty drunk at that point.

Srsly? That was the 24/7 tour. Would've killed to go. I think, technically speaking, Tina has announced 4 different retirement tours. Break Every Rule in 1987, Foreign Affair tour in 1990, 24/7 in 2000 and now the Tina!: 50th Anniversary tour. The difference here is that she is almost 70 years old and seems pretty serious about this being her last world tour.

That's what they said when she hit 60.

I've seen her twice. Back in the 80s with Brian Adams (you're probably too young to remember, but they did a hit duet together) and then the Y2K tour. She had as much energy in Y2K as she did in the 80s.

I've heard most songs recorded by Tina. And I am of course familiar with "It's Only Love!" FWIW my favorite Tina duet is "634-5789" with Robert Cray. The thing with this tour: there's no underlying current of "Oh, she'll be back." That definitely existed in 2000. She has said recently in interviews that she's looking forward to a quiet retirement, and I think she's serious this time. She'll probably continue to do those one-off charity shows though.

I performed her entire Tina Live in Europe (Break Every Rule tour)CD for my stuffed animals. They seemed to really enjoy "Show Some Respect."

Whoa, I just read that she wore a "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome" inspired outfit. Then: Now: Ahahahaha WTF. The blonde wig has a fake forehead!
