Seems like a lot of the Florentine shoemakers have a great many japanese clients.  I think it's probably in combination with the sight-seeing...

Awesome. We gotta get that EG collection up and rolling. He was the best thing to happen to the sadly underrated FNM.

Taken from: 50 Best Shoes (or something along that line --- hey, I don't have a Japanese mom to do translation for me.)

Thanks for all your efforts Naturlaut l really appreciate all the time you are putting in.

P.S: l will bump the topic up occasionally so everyone gets a chance to see the wonderful pictures.

P.S.S: how many pages are these volumes?

I scanned about 12 pages each, but they are obviously much larger (over 100 pages each volume). Since it's quite an effort doing all this, and I don't really want it to go to waste, how do I put it on top of the first page so all of you could access it easily (and thus enjoy an occassional shoegasm)?

There are more coming up.

naturlaut (or anyone else who knows) - Could you post the ISBN number for the "50 best shoes" if it happens to have one? If not, is the first picture you posted the cover? If so I could probably take a printout to my local bookstore and see if they can find it for me. Thank you.
