Yes, I have been still able to find bottles. A beer cafe had them on tap, and still have bottles, but informed me they no longer have them available on tap as the brewery was bought out by Leifman's and the recipe was sold to Duvel. Although I was under the impression that Leifman's had an interest in the brewery before.

When I was in Rome for vacation, I had Peroni and pizza for 3 or 4 of the nights. That damn place on Via Trastevere was ridiculously good.

Peroni is still my beer of choice at home.

oh, also want to make a plug for Blueberry Ale from Blue Point Brewery. Sounds kind of gross, but tastes awesome. Just the perfect hint of blueberry, they (rightly) didn't overdo it. Glory!

Weihenstephaner, Wittekerke, Aventinus, Southampton Double White, St. Bernardus wit etc. etc. etc.

Italian beers: check out anything from Le Baladin. There is a brewery whose name escapes me, and they wrap all their bottles in paper. I've had their beer was called whatever the Italian word for dragon is.

(Some of) My favorites: Sam Adams Utopias, Racer 5, Westvleteren 12...they're up there.
