Honestly, that smell actually makes me aroused. Girls I have been with since obtaining it have also enjoyed it as much, if not more than any other cologne I own (or so I surmise based on responses and my occasional inquiry)...anyone who also has either of the first two John Varvatos scents knows that shit is like a chick magnet...I think Sequoia is better. It's definitely more powerful, especially that top note in the beginning, it's sharp and hot.

Werd, I was in SF all day yesterday looking for CdG Red: Sequoia to give it a whiff, but I couldn't find it. I ended up liking CdG 2 Man and CdG 888 and bought 1mL of each online, to test for a day or two.

Good suggestions. Another "knock you down for the count" powerhouse would be something like the original Giorgio Beverly Hills for Men (the one in the yellow/white striped box). Patchouli, honey, and a blast of spice.
