Is she stuck on men? I mean, I notice women of a certain age, often seem to take up with other women of a certain age.

i don't know. i will find out. i suspect that if she were into women it would be much easier to find someone, and i would not need to help her.

Instead of trying to match her with romantic partner; you could try to have her meet friends first. Several public libraries, community colleges, and universities have programs for elderly people to study something (painting or something). Maybe you could get her involved in that and she can make some friends that have similar interests. Then if there is a man there that she likes it will just happen naturally.
