SF-Approved Hats?

I'm going on an outdoorsy trip and it will get pretty sunny. I don't want to get my hypebeast on and get a New Era fitted and I was wondering what would be a good outdoorsy hat without looking a safari person.

My friend wears a ~30 year old Banana Republic suede hat from his grandpa. It looks like Junya Wantanabe steeze, and is really fucking cool.

I dunno if Junya actually sells hats like the ones from his runway shows, but if he does, you should buy one.

honestly dude, if this is just a daytrip that you'll probably never repeat, I'd just drop by any supermarket and grab a straw hat. otherwise, check out your local REI or sportsman store

Target has some decent hats for $9.99. I have 1 or two. There website only has cheezy baseball caps though.

Get yourself a Tilley Endurables hat. They look good, protect you from the sun and never wear out...in fact they come with a lifetime replacement guarantee!

I own an Airflo Tilley and wear it all the time when it warms up. Great hat at a reasonable price.

+2 Tilley hats are great quality. Lifetime waranty. And even if it gets stolen they will only charge you half price or something like that.

Between my father and I we own about 6 or so. For winter and summer, they have a huge selection. They are not my style, but when I go camping and so on, I dont care what I look like, I dont want to get roasted in the sun!

+ 3 on the Tilley Hat. I've had mine for a while now and it still holding up well. Great sun protection.

I'm not at the "age" or style to be wearing Tilley hats. (compared to the people in their catalog) but my first one was given to be from my father and the rest is history. I am a firm believer is "stick with what you know and trust".

citiconnection I have panamas, trilbys, berets, poor boy hats, fedoras, caps etc. I wear the Tilleys when I go to the Yosemite National Park for hiking or to the local farmer's market on a hot day. Again, it's great for sun protection.
