I have a pair of raw denim I have yet to wash. I want to wash them as they are too long and at the same time I would like to try and stretch the jeans a little if I can. It is tight but fits well, I would be happy if it stayed the same size and even happier if it had a little more room. How do I do it? Do I stretch while washing? when it is drying? any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks al lot.

If you wash the jeans and let them drip dry to the point of being almost dry, then put them on and "move around" i.e. do the various movements your body may go through - squatting seems to stretch them the most - they will stretch to accommodate you a bit more. Let them dry on you, just be sure not to wear shoes or socks or shirts or underwear you care about, because the damp indigo will probably come off to some degree. And don't sit on your white cotton couch.
