I've been looking around for a reasonable pair of brown suede wingtips but no luck. Cole Haan had a pair with nasty contrast stitching, and I don't trust J. Crew.

Any reccomendations on an entry-mid range price level option?

The Allen Edmonds McClain or Bel Air (pretty sure both have suede models that were recently discontinued) might be available on ebay for sub-$200.

You might also want to look at the previously suggested Herring shoes and also Pediwear.

thanks for the suggestions! im going to hunt aound for the AE - they look great! by any chance do AE fit like cole haan collection? i have a pair of british tan cole haan english bench made that fit me perfectly. thanks!

if you're an 11.5D, you're in luck

AE Bel Air's in suede are discontinued so grab them while you can

the color is really interesting - it's more mink than chocolate

they look amazing with grey wool and flannel pants

I've been on the hunt for a nice set of suede casual wingtips after seeing this in the non-sartorialist thread..I really like the rubber thin lug sole. Can't seem to find anything similar to the Cucinelli's but I'm not looking to spend over $200 Can anyone recommend anything I should consider besides these two models..I really like the taupe suede for jeans, chords, and khaki's.
