Found some Novara gloves--on sale too. Very nice fit, windproof backs. I'll see how they do.

Woohoo, new chain and rear cassette. New front fender (clip on style, let's see how long it lasts).

Anyone know anything about these shoes? They are described as "indoor" shooes, but does that really mean anything? They look kinda cool; that's all I'm going on here.

Shimano Sh-FN51

Thanks,

used to have another model of 'indoor' shimano spd shoes, and I used them when I started mountain biking but the soles were very slippery and the shoes were on the heavy side.

Goddamn, I have an addiction to singlespeed bikes.. Just something about the simplicity and toughness. I no longer have my old langster, loved it but it was a bit fragile/hardcore for me. Thought I might get a nice cruiser next. Then I see this:

Crap. Singlespeed, fat tires, BMX meets fixie design, built tough. Steel frame. Looks like it can cruise, fly, or jump curbs. Damn. Might have to pick it up.

i had three fixed gears and i loved them, great for beating around the city. Although they sucked for hill commutes except for the weight issue was great. I had to retire from them for now, that crank looks like **** though.

Yeah, I'm thinking about it. But, while there is the prospect for fun, there's also the potentially greater prospect of being around a bunch of hipster jerks.

that's true, i tried to ride in a fixed gear club here in town and my right wing conservative attitude just landed me in a fight so i said the hell with them.

I'm thinking a little of column A, little of column B.
