Ah, those were the days. For the record I still have a place in my heart for Linkin Park (hybrid theory) and Papa Roach, they may be corny and cliche teen angst but they were fun to listen to and not take so seriously. The rest, leave staind (some) and maybe green day were pretty shite though, fall out boy is possibly the worst band of pop rock. Here are some of my favourite songs from way back when, be prepared poppy, corny, teen angst rock in all its glory Hoobastank Three Days Grace Papa Roach Linkin Park Switchfoot (surprisingly sensible and decent for pop rock, not just for teenagers, the album 'a beautiful letdown' is one of the most motivating, optimistic albums I've ever heard) As much as I hear Nickelback on the radio, I've still only heard one Nickelback song. Creed was a real influence to aquatic musicians globally, finally their obscure choice of profession was realised. Speaking of 'christian rock', P.O.D wasn't half bad, particularly the album Testify.

Have you all forgotten about Hinder? I honestly thought "Lips of an Angel" was a parody song the first time I heard it. That band is simply atrocious, and I am pretty far from a music snob.

I'm sorry you all have such terrible taste in music. Someone will start a Hanson thread before we know it.

Guilty... but ONLY because it was the 5th needed to get the 10-cent CD package from Columbia House.
