Favorite frugal food blogs

Inspired by the $3 steak talk, anyone have any favorite 'frugal' food blogs? I've done a poor job budgetting lately so I need to start cooking at home more and eating out at expensive restaurants less... but too bad I love good food

I know the usual standards, but know there has to be some good blogs (that aren't totally white trash) related to frugal meals

Become a freegan! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freeganism But seriously, they might actually have some good tips/ideas. For example buying supermarket stuff that's expired/nearly there for really cheap. Personally, I try to buy stuff right when it's in season because it's cheaper and at it's prime. If I spot a good deal I often make stuff and free it for the off-season. Other ideas? Before you even consider going shopping for food, always think ahead to what you'll be eating, then go look at the food/staples you already have (so you don't buy more), and buy more frequently (like every 2-3 days) instead of once a week (you'll forget about stuff and it'll just rot in the fridge). Check out local farmer's markets - you can often get stuff that's much fresher and cheaper Something along these lines might also help http://veg.ca/content/view/165/112/

Big fan of Smitten Kitchen. No original recipes, but I find the recipes she gathers are consistently good, and the photography is wonderful.
